Ok well I have an HDTV in my room which I play xbox 360 on. There are so many options in regards to which input to use. I can use HDMI, VGA, or Component. Right now, the cords I have hooked up are for teh Component input but I can get the necessary cords if needed. My goal is to have my xbox on my tv and beable to connect my audio cords to my stereo. Which input provides the best HD quality?

If I get an HDTV capture card for my computer, how can I get the HDTV signal from my receiver to my computer which on the other side of my house? Is there anyway I can use like slingbox or something?

So I picked this HDTV from a friend and its one of those really heavy 47″ Sony Trinitron tvs and I have this discoloring on the upper left and right side of the tv and a discoloring on the bottom left. Its a greenish color and its distorting the color/video on the tv. Any ideas what it is and/or how to get rid of it?

Monster/ISF HDTV Calibration Wizard DVD

I know hdtv’s run hot, but it winds up heating up my room by at least 7 degrees, and i have a 37″ hdtv in a small bedroom. Its great in the winter but in the summer it gets really hot, i put a 12″ fan on the back of it, but its the front screen that when i touch it, its extremely hot. Anyway of cooling it down?

i’m planning on getting a new TV . i’m leaning more towards an LCD tv, but some saw HDTV is best. to me LCD has better quality in picture then HDTV. i really don’t see any difference between regulre television and HDTV they look the same. what are your thoughts?
