Gifts For The Gadget And Technology Lovers

With Christmas fast approaching, it is time to think of gift philippines for our loved ones. Retail surveys show that there has been a steady increase of giving gadgets as gifts during Christmas. With how far technology has become and how wide its base of users are, it comes as no surprise. From preschoolers to sixty-year old people, gadgets are one of the coolest and most-appreciated gift philippines to give during Christmas. So what do you give your techie loved one on Christmas when he is updated with everything technology-related? Here are the top 10 gadgets of 2009 to serve as your guide to giving gift philippines. Touchscreen gadgets. Everything becomes touchy feely when it comes to gadgets. With the point and press of a finger, hand held devices come to life and obey commands. I would not be surprised when the time comes when gadgets operate on voice command too. Nintendo DSi, Nokia N97 Series Touch and Acer Aspire One 3G are just a few examples of touchscreen gadgets. Netbooks. Laptops and notebooks have shrunk down. The smaller, the more compact, the better, that is the trend nowadays. Add a touch of color to personalize netbooks and you attract students. Get a designer to “design” a netbook and you attract fashionistas. Blu-ray. Everything is in HD (high-definition). And you better get your Blu-ray player. This medium is designed to outlast the standard DVD format, storing up to 25-50GB of memory per layered disc. Wii. The Wii Nintendo System has been a big success and has defined the game and entertainment system for the family. Wii Music has followed suit. Blackberry. Blackberry Storm 9500 is one of the top gadgets in most techie geeks’ lists. With a 480 x 360 pixel display, 3. 2 Mega pixel camera, 1GB on board storage and video support for MPEG4 H. 263, MPEG4 Part 2 Simple Profile, it presents a stiff competition against MAC’s iPhone. The OLED TV. Organic light emitting diodes (OLED) TVs do not require a backlight to function, thus consuming less power during operation. These TV screens are as thin as a piece of paper! They are expected to be manufactured better than the plasma and LCD TVs. Visit the website http://www. myflowerdepot. com.

I just bought the TV used in great working condition and I ordered a Blu-ray player online. Has anyone played blu-ray on this tv? If so could you tell me how well it works or if it does at all. Thanks

If you want anything out of the norm (ex. bringing more than 4 people), its going to cost you. And they know next year you are going to do the same thing again. There is a better way to enjoy your holidays, stay at a Vacation Rental Home. Vacation rentals are growing in popularity because they are not the same as hotels. A typical hotel room is 30-40 sqm and costs between $75 and $110 a night. In contrast, a 1 bedroom vacation condo can run 60-80 sqm, a 2 bedroom vacation condo may be 120-160 sqm, 3 bedroom condos and homes may be 220 sqm or greater and the price is relatively the same. You can expect to get about twice as much floor area space for your dollar than you would staying at a 5-star resort hotel with equivalent or better quality of interior furnishings. Renting a vacation home is even more affordable in larger groups. When you compare with having to rent several rooms verses only one house, break the cost of the house down to a per-room basis or per person basis and the vacation rental is almost always cheaper than accommodating the same number of people in a hotel. Unlike hotels, vacation homes take you away from a crowd and to an individual setting. Each member of your party can have their own private room. Should the weather turn bad, there are often DVD Movies, books, games, magazines, and internet access to keep everyone amused. Vacation homes offer greater privacy from noisy neighbors or being interrupted by service workers. You can even save money by eating in with the fully equiped kitchens instead of going to restaurants. Many vacation homes allow you to bring your furry four legged family members as well. This is what a vacation was meant to be. Imagine yourself stretching out on a large living room sofa while watching a large plasma TV on vacation. There are no noisy nosey neighbors banging on the walls at all hours of the day. And no distractactions as you float in a peaceful cool sparkling blue pool. It’s simply impossible to “unplug” like this at a hotel. You are on your own routine, you can take in the sites at your leisure, or take a break from the action and recouperate. Before you book that hotel on your next vacation, try searching for vacation homes in that area. You may be surprised at the amount of better options that are out there for you. If your coming to Orlando, Florida check out our large selection of homes to choose from starting at $89 a night. Once you experience the difference staying at an vacation home can make, you’ll never want to go back to a hotel again.
