55″ Sony Grand Wega RP LCD vs 62″ Hitachi RP LCD?
I am about to buy a new TV. Right now I am looking at either a 55″ Sony Grand Wega RP LCD or a 62″ Hitachi RP LCD. Would like some advice on which one would be a better tv. My local HH Gregg have them both with the Hitachi costing about $100 more. Or should I go with DLP and if so what is the best brand?

If its a money issue and wanting a big TV, Ill always recommend the Sony RP LCD. Great reviews, reliable, etc. Not a fan of DLP, because of the rainbow effect. (When scan eyes over screen, see rainbow colours!) In some countries DLP been and gone very quickly!
Personally I’d recommend spending a little more dosh and buying Plasma or LCD. With RP LCD, u have on going costs with bulb replacements, and the viewing angles are quite bad from the sides! They do not like a well lit room either, too much glare and hard to see screen.
Recommend: Samsung/Sony LCDs
Samsung/Panasonic/Pioneer Plasmas
Hope this helps, and all the best!
